Christian Gijsels currently works as an independent consultant and trainer, specialising in the modelling of business processes (BPMN, UML Activity Diagrams), cases, decision rules (CMMN/DMN) and enterprise architecture (ArchiMate).
Before that, Christian was employed at the Cronos Holding, where, as a co-founder, was responsible for the Consulting Groep The Business Analysts, a group of 85 business analists, functional analists and project managers.
Before that, Christian was manager with KPMG where he was responsible for e-Business (‘eCore Team’). He was a co-founder of Evisor (later sold to PWC) where he was responsible for Consulting and Sales.
Before and after the integration of Cimad Consulting and IBM Professional Services, he was Practice Leader of the Network Computing and Security Practice. This practice consisted of various Competence Centers which he coördinated (Java Competence Center, Notes/Domino Competence Center, Microsoft Competence Center and the EMEA Netscape Competence Center).
Christian has a Master degree in Computer Technology at LUC Diepenbeek, Belgium and holds many certifications in the area of BPMN, Scrum, Six Sigma, Enterprise Architecture and AI.
